Spring is in the air...
Hello! Spring is in the air and in our step.
Anya is SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT ON A REGULAR BASIS (knocking on every wood surface)! ..and by that I mean 7:30pm - 7:30am! We haven't moved Ethan out of OUR bedroom (the set-up we needed to make this possible), but we plan on doing that tonight. Wish us luck! We like feeling a little more human!
Ethan is doing great! It's taking all of my resources (energy and creativity) to keep him occupied and stimulated. I'm really looking forward to preschool. I think he is REALLY ready too! Don't get me wrong, we are having a lot fun!
ETHAN LOVES digging in the dirt for ROLLIE POLLIES! Our budding scientist has been creating a rollie pollie habitat, and when we asked him if he was ready to come in for lunch, he poked his head inside and informed us that he "just wants to play with his rollie pollies."
Other than sleeping great, Anya is grabbing EVERYTHING within reach. Luckily, she is NOT even trying to be mobile yet, and we're a-ok with that for the time being. I can already tell that we'll be in T-R-O-U-B-L-E once that happens. She babbles YAH YAH YAH, DAH DAH DAH and BAH BAH BAH! and when she's MAD (and only when she's mad), you might catch a MAH MAH! She smiles a lot, she giggles and she thinks her brother is THE BEST entertainment we could have had waiting for her! AND he LOVES being her hero! It's really sweet!
For Memphians:
The kids and I will be in Memphis, May 23rd - June 5th (ish). ...give or take a day or so! Jesse is driving in the final weekend.
